When will Brooklyn Football Club start playing?
Brooklyn Football Club will commence operations for its youth academy in 2024. The professional men’s team will begin playing in 2025.
What league will Brooklyn Football Club compete in?
Brooklyn Football Club will begin competing in USL League One in the 2025 season. Our long-term vision is for the team to compete in the USL Championship, the highest level of competition in the USL.
Where will games be played?
We have multiple pre-approved venues that we are evaluating as our home stadium for our inaugural season of professional football in 2025. We expect to have a decision announced by mid-2024.
Is there a women’s team?
Our vision is to field a women’s team in the USL Superleague, the premier league of professional women’s soccer in the United States. We need support from our fans to make this happen, so please sign the petition on our website.
What are the plans for the youth academy?
Brooklyn Football Club will be fielding a highly competitive youth team beginning in the 2024 season. Additionally, we will be partnering with various local youth academies throughout the New York Metro area. Updates on our youth academy will be posted shortly on our website and in our newsletter.
Who will be on the team?
We will begin announcing technical staff and player signings in early 2024. We will host various tryouts and camps to give local players an opportunity to showcase their skills. Please sign up for our newsletter to receive updates.
